Didn't see this posted before...basically there's an e-book of sorts of Digital Beat Magazine (I think that's what it's called?) posted online that includes a preview of the TotA Special Fandisc which released on the 22nd. It includes some screenshots of the skits and the cover of the magazine seems to have an exclusive illustration which I haven't seen anywhere else (plus a rather odd doodle of Luke and Asch which I can't figure out for the life of me what they're supposed to be...). If anyone can extract the illustration and/or other pics (as the typical right click-save as function doesn't seem to work), that'd be great as well. ^^

I am making Nephry for my girlfriend and am having a pretty hard time finding some in game references of her on the web. Anyone have any game shots of her that would be willing to share? It would be greatly appreciated.

All right, so one of my icons is an animated .gif that I made from a flash file. I did not make the original flash file (in fact, I do not know the maker of the original flash file, however, I do have a "original artist unknown" note underneath the icon). However, I did decompile the .swf into frames, and I shrunk these frames/compressed them so they were icon size.

That being said, do I have the right to ask for credit for this icon? Or should I just leave it alone, since I did not make the flash I took it from?

Upd8!!!! They did surgery on him last night. Took them 5 hours...

But it was a success! :D :D :D :D :D

His condition has stabilized, according to my mom. He *should* be okay. The issus: He's drooling a bit and his left side is paralyzed, but my mom says that's normal right after a stroke, and he *should* recover. About the paralysis: See, the problem is that there are apparently a bunch of blood clots in his brain. The amount of mobility he'll recover is contingent on the number of those they can remove. My mom says they should be able to remove most if not all, tho...they sent him to a very good neurology center that has tons of the most advanced equipment, and they have a little thingamajig there that can remove clots with a minimum of trouble. Now, things *could* still go wrong at this point, we can't tell for sure, but overall, things are looking much better.

tl;dr: We're not out of the woods yet, but we're getting there :D Thanks for all your prayers and support, my friends! It helped a lot, it did :D Keep it comin, though, at this point we still need all the luck we can get...

I don't remember seeing anyone posting about this here, but there's going to be a fan disk for the anime released on December 22nd. It's going to have a few skits in it and the characters are all chibi :P one with Tear's maid costume and another for Jade's Dr Mambo title.

Just finished reading one of the more famous pieces in my lil' section of the FE portion of FFn.net, "Hammer of Terrascars." It wasn't the best thing ever, I have to admit--lots of grammar/spelling nitpicks I would make, and I didn't entirely approve of all the changes the author made. However, he DEFINITELY put a LOT of work into it, and it deserves its place as one of the most well-known FE fanfics, IMO. It's a pity I only started to get 'really' into FE fanfiction long after this story was written (it was finished in 2005). As a historian, being part of the cohort that experienced it as it was being written would have been quite the experience. But, ah well...I think the author has long since moved on from FE fanfiction. I wonder if he'd mind a small revuu from a Internet wanderer...
